What do you think we may see released in the future? I'm only in my infancy in collecting from this manufacturer, but I'm liking what I'm seeing. Waiting on a number of orders to arrive and over the next year or so I hope to populate my collection in reinforcing various regiments and countries for Waterloo. Coming to the party late I'm finding some sets are very hard to locate. For example; 36163 - British 44th Foot Light Company Officer Firing Pistol.

So do you think we will see additional Imperial Guard sets? I'm hoping that they will expand the Allied forces too.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
GH

There are currently 7 additional French Imperial Guard figures in production for release at the end of the year…
Thank you for asking!

Thank you very much for the news. That forthcoming release sounds lovely.

Much appreciated and thanks.

Some of my older posts from around 2016 you might enjoy:

Mostly a mix of Britains and Kronprinz in these old photos

Thanks Steve very much for showcasing your collection. Quite impressive! I'm only looking at 20 plus miniatures per regiment.

Horus (Steve) has been metaphorically knocking it out of the park recently with his dios. This is a another gem. I'm more into Ancient Rome at the moment but this reminds me of my love for Napoleonics!

Cheers Paddy !

Britains seem to have stayed clear of Romans for whatever reason, but they have done the Napoleonic era
pretty well with their releases.
Grey Heron, There is a forum member using the username of Napoleontimo who has done a huge diorama of his version of Waterloo and a pleasure to view. Definitely worth looking at if interested in Napoleonics !

Steve,

Man, your set ups look tremendous!!! Always love seeing the mass formations and the smoke effect you did on that firing line is well done too.

I'm so used to seeing your Vietnam dio's that it kind of took me by surprise to see some Nap dio's of yours. Of course these are right up to par with your other ones....great work as usual!!!

Cheers Mark :salute::

Alas most of my Napoleonics are packed away due to space limitations that is pretty common with our hobby !
Like lots of us I have collected different ranges but also different eras in time. TG did a great line of FIW Royal Americans that worked brilliantly with Britains Clash of Empires, but TG stopped the range after about a dozen figures. Think it would have lasted longer. Still each company has its own plans for what they want to produce as we do with what we like to collect !

Thank you for indicating this username to me. I've spent sometime trawling through the pages and marvelling at his wonderful collection.

Wow! This collection of Napoleonics is awesome! Very impressive. The figures are fabulous and the musket fire effects. :)

What materials did you use for your diorama materials, grasses, bushes and trees Horus? It looks very realistic.

The Musket smoke effect is just clumps of cushion stuffing with a battery operated tealight inside. Other times I've used cotton wool.

Grasses and trees just model railway accessories and the bushes moss from the garden !

Great scenes! Love the 44th Regiment's square. I've a few more miniatures to collect for this regiment to make my own diorama. Have a Royal Artillery set alongside the sergeant/officer coming from Canada as we speak.

Cheers,
GH
