Does anyone want to share any Napoleonic K&C displays (dioramas) pics with the rest of the Forum?? I'm curious to see how you have done them, there is very little in the way of K&C exclusive pics on the Forum.

I posted a few pictures of my K&C figures on page 149 of the bored tonight post a diorama thread not that long ago. I don,t know if you caught them or not?

I agree though, lets see some more napoleonic dioramas, K&C or any other figures for that matter. I,m a napoleonic collector not a K&C collector so there all great to me but I prefer my napoleonics to be matte finnish and the more detail the better so K&C are at the near top of that list. I just wish they were 1/32 scale to go with the rest of my napoleonic collection better.

Lets see some napoleonics!!! Fubar are you hearing this??? Get some of those new french grenadiers painted up and throw one of your mind blowing diorama together.

Tim!!!!! That was EXCELLENT...first time Ive seen Napoleonic K&C dioramas on here other than the small ones I once put on.......The pics were a real treat to see!!!!!

Thanks WELLINGTON...................:)

Thanks Tim those are great too...who makes them and how do they compare in price to K&C?

WOW TIM! Excellent pix! You've been busy!
I havent checked in for a while, busy building my Collection room so, sorry no pix.Your images have inspired me AGAIN! Must go play framer, roofer, and conduit runner and get the Hobby room/ Bachelor pad /home away from home done so I can shoot pix like yours!

I'm looking forward to the Britians Napoleonic releases{ ACW< AWI,ZULU too}
and getting more models sculpted and cast. Want to be done and moving in all my toys by Spring! Maybe I'll have enough room for some mega wargame Napoleonic displays!
Keep the great shots coming Everyone!

Wellington there are many different figures all mixed and matched in the diorama, I,m not sure wich ones you are talking about?

There are K&C,britains, frontline, niena and various painted castings also.
most of the russian figures are metal castings that need to be assembled and painted most of wich I did myself. Others I found on Ebay already assembled and painted.

Most of the Russians are Fubars castings wich you can buy here at treefrog.

I love these figures! I painted most of them myself but Fubar had a bunch of these for sale at great prices already painted to a great standard for sale on ebay awhile back and I picked up some from him already painted to beef up my russian troops without having to go crazy painting them all myself wich is a lot of work.
You might want to check with him he might still have some painted figures available???

Harold sounds like a real nice renovation you,ve got going on, also sounds like a lot of work also. If I lived near you I,d come give you a hand and help you set up one of your awsome napoleonic dioramas when we were done.
I,m still trying to follow in your footsteps with my dioramas but your just an impossible act to follow. I don,t have the room or numbers of figures to match what you do. Your dioramas are just shock and awe!!!

Any chance at a sneak peak at what you have up your sleave next? I,m sure it will be great!
I finally started to get your french grenadiers ready for the painting table today. I,ve been feeling like crap lately, my blood sugar has been through the roof for the past month so I haven,t been up to doing much of anything.

I mounted your grenadiers on large fender washers to beef up the bases a bit and then added some 2 part putty to the base also to make the transition from the old base to the new larger washer base seemless. I,m going to flock the bases when I,m done painting them also so I think they,ll look pretty good when there done and the figures will be much more stable also.
Look forward to seeing what you have in store for the future Harold! Keep up the good work!!!

All of these Napoleonic displays are very stunning !! :D:D

I will try to shoot some photos of my stuff.

Tim, Yes Sir, It's a lot of work! But the results will be worth all the effort.
Too bad we are on opposite Coasts! I could use a little help and a Napoleonic fiend/Freind too! We'll have to figure a way to get you out here for a week or so this summer!

Nuthings really up my sleeve at this point. Everything is on the back burner until I get this construction project done.Doing the siding tomorrow, or at least starting.Old Barnwood on the outside{ hang lots of antique farm implements on there!} , insulation and interior after that. Cant forget the wiring and lighting either! The outside will look rustic , the inside, havent decided . As long as theres room for a 24 foot table, A plasma screen , lots of built in display cabinets and storage shelves, A fridge for some suds ect.
Going slow, at least it seems to me but like everything else, I just keep chipping away at it.
I still have some ideas which I have already shared and thats about it.Grenadier variants, some more ancients.
Yes, I still have TONS of painted russians. At least 300 and a dozen painted cannon setstoo.
Who knows, I'll probably have room to deploy them all !
Maybe I'll get to work on some routed Frenchmen! Casualties too! We need SOME anyway!
Time for fuel and rest. Keep the battle pix comin!
