Snuff? I know he defiantly did that... but is that what you mean? I have this great quote about him reviewing the Guard at the Tuilleries (yeas, I know this is spelled wrong:rolleyes2, in which one can see how he too was no more than a man....

I have found that he carried a snuff box in his trousers and "Although numerous jeweled snuff boxes associated with Napoleon survive, these were generally given as gifts. For personal use he preferred simpler oval tortoise shell or wooden ones, lined with gold and decorated with cameos or antique coins. He went though large quantities of snuff, but rarely sniffed it. Instead he would take large doses, pass them under his nose, and discard them."
