Since yesterday was the 190th anniversary of Napoléon's death...

Where was Napoléon's first resting place located on St Helena island?

OK, I've given it about 16 hours and no replies, so done some more searching and found a couple of answers.

Valley of Willows, Geranium Valley and the Valley of the Tomb, but it does say that Bonaparte selected the site himself, and going on some of the images of this place, it does look restful.

Due to a dissagrement between his folowers and a 'Lowe' form of life, his tomb stone was unmarked. The French wanted it to be just Napoleon (royalty go by first names) and the Bris wanted the whole name.

The "Vallée des géraniums" in French, called Sane valley in English was indeed his first resting place! Well done John! He indeed did select this spot for his tomb in case his request of having his ashes sent back to France would be rejected by the Brits.
