What was the nickname given to Napoléon by the Egyptians during his time in Egypt?

A somewhat more serious guess this time Groggie.

Whilst in Egypt, napoleon took as his mistress Pauline Foures - who was nicknamed Clioupatre by the rest of the Army.

My guess, therefore, is that Napoleon was nicknamed "Le Pharoe"??? Am I on the right track?

Maybe with all the bribery going on in Egypt, he was known as "Baksheesh Bonaparte." There are hordes of black flies everywhere. Surely, Napoleon was called the "Sultan of Swat."^&grin

You guys are hilarious ^&grin. OK, here is the answer: Sultan Kebir which means Great Sultan!
