Mark, these are 2 volumes of a 4 volume set. This is also a very good price for whatever 2 volumes it is. I have seen 1 volume of this set listed for more than the $99.95 at several sites. A complete 4 volume set can be worth over $500 - $600. If the advertised volumes are in real nice shape (VG or better), the price is a bargain. -- lancer

Then they are Vols. 1 & 2 of the set. I think vols 3-4 covered French allies and enemies. Still a good buy. -- Al

Less expensive but very nice too, I have the Uniforms of Napoléon's Army book by Carle Vernet (Greenhill Books, London - Stackpole Books, Pennsylvania) who was commissioned by Napoleon to paint the regulations so they can be used by the military taylors. This book contains great and colorful plate selection from this talented artist.
