Thanks Scott I did this especially for you as today is your birthday, so Happy Birthday to you, enjoy the day..................

Thanks very much George, is that one large mat you are using or smaller ones placed side by side.

George - fantastic layout and photos. Thanks for posting this.....and MY! What a larger kitchen table you have. :D

Thanks PJ, I appreciate it, I've been eating standing up the past few days, but as you can see, it's worth it.............:D

George,

A lot of things have changed figure wise since I stopped wargaming about 25 years ago, you will have to talk me through the different manufacturers again. There are some very nice figures there but you can’t beat the old Hinton Hunt for veteran troops! ;)

Jeff,
The Hinton Hunts have stood the test of time, they did an incredible variety of figures back in the day.

Currently, we have Kennington, Newline Design (they continually come out with new figures, while Kennington is sort of dead in the water with nothing new for a long time) and Art Miniaturen, they are spectacular, I just bought several hundred of them that I will be painting up in the near future............

Incredible, George...and such a pleasure to view. Horrible question, but how many Naps do you have? I know how much effort goes into setting up just moderately sized Nap dios...so I can only imagine how much work this must have been. Well worth the effort though, George...you have created a truly amazing spectacle!

Thanks!

Thanks Nick, I appreciate the feedback.

Funny thing about Napoleonics, you can never have enough, can you. Everytime I think I am at my limit, I get the urge to buy more and add on to my collection.

At this point in time, I've got about 1,000 French Infantry, 300 cavalry, 24 guns, plus loads of mounted personalities.

I have about 600 infantry, 150 cavalry and 12 guns each for the Russians, Prussians and Austrians. I also have about 150 Bavarian Infantry, 60 or so cavalry and about 6 guns.

For British, I have a Waterloo army of about 600 Infantry; line infantry, highlanders and 95th rifles, 150 cavalry and 12 guns. I also have Brunswickers, Dutch Belgians and Nassau troops, about 400 or so combined infantry, about 50 cavalry and 6 guns.

I also have a Pennisular Campaign British army of about 500 infantry, 150 cavalry and 6 guns, plus a Spanish/Portuguese army of about 150 infantry, 50 cavalry and 6 guns.

So, altogether about 6,000 figures, maybe more. I just bought another couple of hundred figures from a company called Art Miniaturen, they are spectacular, will be painting them up shortly..............t really never ends................

Keep going George there's no stoping now aim for 20,000 figs...
