Ron--just read a Yahoo News that there is an aucton for a real sword used by Napoleon :D The auction will be on Sunday. You might need to curtail your soldiers purchases for a couple of weeks as the sword is estimated to go for 1.6 million:):):)

Hi Guys

I hope Ron found 6.4 million ways otherwise he had to sit this one out until it comes around again.

FONTAINEBLEAU, France - A gold-encrusted sword Napoleon wore into battle in Italy 200 years ago was sold Sunday for more than $6.4 million.

Lovely looking saber!

I weep for my loss :( - I just read this and the sword has slipped from grasp....:(

A sad day :(

Ahh, It's not that bad- consider this:

1.) the $6.4M is probably more than nations like Luxembourg spent last year on their military and defense budgets;

2.)In the hands of a normal sized man, this sword would be nothing more than a really expensive dagger!! :D:D

I think I read that one of his descendants now owns the sword- I guess it passed out of their family for a time.

Imagine explaining that one to the wife!:D

A beautiful sword. Finally returned to its' family. Maybe it will go to a museum someday.
