One thing I have been thinking about recently is the percentage of French to British/Allies of K&C’s Napoleonic line. Just looking in my curio everyday as I walk past it has brought this subject to my mind many times, so finally last night I thought I would look into it during halftime of the Carolina Panthers/New York Giants football game. Since I keep a spreadsheet of all of my stuff, it didn’t take 4 or 5 minutes to figure out. I compared all French figures to British figures and came to realize K&C has produced roughly 30% more French figures than British/Allies. There are some sets that have both French and British, so I counted the individual pieces in my analysis. This does not necessarily mean 30% more sets. This does include the KCS figures as well.

So, with that in mind, I hope in the future we will begin to see more British/Allies releases than French. When you take for instance figures with mounts, the total British figures come to 14 versus 47 for the French. More British cavalry would be nice. Besides obviously producing figures for the alliances against Napoleon, like Russia and Austrian as examples, maybe some more British regiments to help balance it out some.

Whatever K&C produces in this line, even if it is French, I will still buy it. I just wanted to see more balance in my curio before someone accuses me of being French. ;)
Just kidding guys.

Your thoughts?

I think that's part of Andy's pattern of making more of the losers/bad guys, e.g. Germans. He thinks they sell more and, based on K & C's success, I'm certainly not going to argue with that theory.

Nevertheless, a dismounted Napoleon has not been produced by K&C. THere is a del prado version that's available, but the paint job is arrrgh...

Please give us a dismounted (or sitting) Emperor!!!!!

btw, I am planning to get the Andrea Miniature Ready2show Napoleon. How's the scale comparing to K&C figures?

Like I Have Said In The Past I Would Like To See Some Rifles Like The 95th And The 60th. Heritage Just Came Out With Some 95th Rifles But I Think They May Be Hard To Get If You Live In The U.S.A,,
