Vanessa Bryant is suing LA County for emotional distress...
for them allowing several officers on the crash scene to take personal photos/selfies of the deceased...
her 13 year old daughter, Gianna. and her husband, Kobe Bryant...

lots of people are admonishing her suit...calling it a "money grab"...
as officers took personal photos of the mangled corpses...
I find that utterly inhumane...
she has generational wealth...
her estate is over 600 million...
she doesn't need the money to scrimp by...
even Bezos would sue them over this...

where the real money grab will be with them selling the photos to some celebrity rag magazine...
so the Bryant family can relive the horror after these pictures are immortalized on the Internet forever...

this is stomach turning...snapping personal photos of the horribly mutilated deceased...
one of the most macabre things I have ever heard of...

the Bryant family is well acquainted with the paparazzi...
but this is way over the limit...
disgusting...sick...and twisted...

if Kobe beat your NBA...or if you just don't like him...
you need to put that aside...this is totally uncalled for...

if this happened to me...taking personal photos of one of my deceased family members...
I would be suing too...and I bet you would also...
and I hope she gets awarded and a lot of people lose their job...
utterly ghoulish!

"2921"? What, playing in Madison Cube Garden, a la "Futurama"?

Prost!

OMG!!!
I did that when I was in my Back to the Future DeLorean...
can you please correct it for me?
I don't want the "Rumpelstiltskin Effect" to scare anyone...

Everyone is entitled to respect and dignity in such a tragedy. I can't comprehend what it would be like to lose a spouse and child in such an accident and then have someone take pictures of them and show them around. The folks who did that should be fired and shunned by society. It's disgraceful and sickening.

The Celts have suspended their coach for an entire season because he had a consensual relationship with someone on the staff. Wow. This is really getting out of hand.

whaaaaaaat...is that illegal in Boston?
gotta be more to the story than that...
maybe a contract breach?

Suspended for the season with no guarantee of a return next season for an as reported “consensual relationship”?

The Celtics have simply left too many unanswered questions.

And that leaves the general public to fill in the blanks.

You couldn’t have a worse group doing that.

Maybe there is more to the story, but as now he is being suspended for the entire season for having a consensual relationship with someone in the organization. It's a frightening precedent that employers can punish folks for lawful personal conduct. You wonder how far that can go in these woke times. Certain conduct is singled out based on whether it is deemed PC. I doubt this guy ever coaches again in Boston. His career there is basically over after taking the team to the NBA finals.
