We just received our Nebelwerfers today and they look great!

Looks great. Is this the only version or will there be a winter version as well?

Are these going to be limited like the previous set?

Louis, there'll be other version(s) later.
Alex, they are not as "limited" as the Wehrmacht and the 82nd, but are still with a small production run.

I received my Nebelwerfer today. This is a nice set. The Nebelwerfer is nicely done with lots of detail. Figures are great too. The only thing it lacks is maybe some extra loose rounds, and a few ammo crates.

I just ordered my second set. I love these sets and the previous Wehrwacht one as well. I especially love the paint job, the shading in the greases of the closes and the sculpting/ painting on the bases. Be careful on the skin tones (Just my opinion) the 82nd Airbone figures were very good by the faces were a little pink.

Great job, what's next? LOL

Carlos

Are there plans for camo and winter versions by chance ?

Thanks a lot for your support Carlos. Your opinion is noted.
What's next...I'll inform you, all, once the WWII prototypes are done :) .
Mikew, there'll be different versions of the Nebelwerfer, including the winter one.
Thanks for your patience.

Just recieved my Nebelwerfer set and I am very pleased. The Nebelwerfer itself is just a great model as it is fully articulated. The chassis legs can be arranged in the firing or transport configuration with a "pin" that hold the legs together in the transport mode. The front support is in a fixed position which kinda prevents the unit from being used in the hooked up position though it does have the eye hole for attachment as a towed unit. The firing mechanism swivels and elivates and the detail is extremely well done. The figure painting it top rate with great shading that brings depth and detail. The poses are great, I'm still a little uncomfortable about the figure proportions, The head sizes are better, however to the discerning eye the bodies seem to be a little compressed in the top half as compared the the lower body. I offer this only as an observation, I'm still well pleased with the set and look forward to continued great products from Patriot, a winter version would be spetacular as well. I really believe Patriot could turn into a major player if the continue with the quality and uniqueness of there sets.

Ray, I completely agree with you and I could not have said it better. I display my Nebelwerfer set with the Patriot 3-man WWII German Wehrmacht Infantry set and man do they ever compliment each other. I too look forward to more releases from Patriot. Keep up the great work. Bravo-Zulu, as we would say in the USN to someone who had done an outstanding job:) :) :) :)

:) Hello Patriot! We need a Nebelwerfer in DAK-Afrika Korps Colors, and Also, a Awesome PAK 40-anti-Tank gun in DAK Colors, and Wehrmacht! CIAO!

Forget the desert theme. It is cold now & we need a WINTER version! Thank you Patriot!!!

Thanks gentlemen for your supports, and Ray for your nice detailed description. And your observation is noted.
Thanks Sceic2, glad that you explained what the Bravo-Zulu is. When I first it saw in the paragraph, my first reaction was "Nebelwerfer in Zulu war?":p
Yes, we learn everyday.
Sergeants, Copy loud and clear.
Sorry, we have decided to supply the guys in the cold first, then those in the desert. Please be patient.

By the way, we should receive the painted prototype of our next german set sometimes this week, I'll post the picture as soon as I can.

Robert,
All great news from you! I'm thinking of getting another set and modifying the front support so I can use it being towed, did you use any particular reference book or material that I might get to make the changes in the model?
Ray
P.S. Looking forward to your next offering :D
P.SS. did they even have these in the Desert theater?

CHeers & thank you for the thorough SITUATION REPORT. I liked the seasonal humor in the last part! Best Regards!

Robert, Thank you. What a cool link. I never thought to look at youtube for such interesting videos. The Nebelwerfer video is great and there are more to look at too.

Michael,
Neither did I. The Youtube is also new to me, but if you have a 15 yrs old at home, you'll understand what I mean. They can find you everything from the net. And I was surprised that my son knew the proper name of this battery when I tested him with "a german 6 barrels launcher" which is not common for his generation over here. In return, he showed the firing noise of it.
