I recently purchased two Napoleonic Dragoons. Although they arrived damaged, through the use of this forum I was able to repair the damage. However, now I am stuck on painting options. I really enjoy the SOE gloss figures. I am really debating finishing these figures with a gloss, I think it would look fantastic with the bright uniform colors. Has anyone done this?

Check with Konrad (Kogu) about his experience applying gloss coatings to matte figures. He has converted a number of matte figures into beautiful gloss figures.

You can see some of Konrad's work in the thread titled, "Matte to Glossy" which can be found in the "General Toy Soldier Discussion" subforum of the Discussion section of the forum. I think you will like what you see.
