Hi, Larry, I remember seeing an article somewhere on the marks used by the various painting studios. I can't remember if it was here in the forum, or in one of the magazines, but I'll see if I can find it. In the meantime, hopefully someone else can recognize the marks. The first and third figures appear to be come from the same studio, at least; they share the unfurled flag mark, though almost certainly applied by different hands.

i believe the macedonian is by a crowd called pennant miniatures, russian, no longer going, bought out fair few figs a while back, the hussar is probably one of theirs too, the knight looks like a niena but they usually sign the name. definitely not russian vityaz (arsenyev), aeroart (st.petesburg coll.) or grenada

Thanks, keef, that makes sense, given the mark. I'm still looking from my file of markings.
