NEED: Japanese WWII Naval Officers (1 Viewer)

Morning folks,

I have been waiting (patiently .. ) for K&C to add a few more Japanese Ranking Naval Officers to their JN series.
So far, only the JN008 - Admiral Yamamoto figure exists. [Okay, maybe you can include JN011 - Imperial Navy Officer-of-the-Watch]

Given Andy's very busy schedule, they may appear n the future, but I will be needing them sooner than later.

Anyway, does anyone know of any 1/30 scale or possibly 1/32 scale castings available?
Probably looking for a painter also. :rolleyes2:

I am not (necessarily) looking for a very high end, one-of-a-kind Russian masterpiece but at this point I will consider most anything.

Sounds like good advise and probably what I would try. First, I need to find a casting or model of some WWII Japanese Naval Officers.
I have checked eBay and other web sites; also various model sites, but no luck. :redface2:

Since this casting / painting hobby area is somewhat foreign to me, I was hoping that all the folks who do this all the time might have a lead.

There seems to be quite a few Japanese WWII ARMY officer sets available and many Japanese WWII Navy pilot sets can be found.
I have found a couple 1/35 scale (and smaller) Naval officer figures, but obviously they won't work.

I am not a rigid as some on scale comparison but anything smaller that 1/32 wouldn't work.
The figures will be (mostly) hidden inside a ships bridge (or similar) on a IJN Carrier so they won't be to visible.

Any leads would be appreciated.

What about just taking another of the figures you've already mentioned and having someone repaint, convert, such as add or remove moustaches, beards change hair colour ?

Well ... it appears that may the path to take.

I have been pondering getting a few of the JN008 - Admiral Yamamoto figures and simply changing the arms to a new position, (re-painting) some collar tabs and shoulder boards and then adding an item or two like a map or document, pointer and such.

BUT ... what would you like to wager :rolleyes2: that I do all that and finally get them done on the 30th of the month and K&C dispatches on the 1st has three or four of them ..... :redface2:

Oh well, mine would be unique.
