i must say i have been really impressed by the quality of figarti's wwii releases, but the problem with thier releases are they only make a few hundred and then they are gone,i make pretty decent money but alot of times i may have to wait later on to purchase an item like i do with k&c and can usually pick that item up sooner or later, but if you can't come up with the coin for some figarti stuff immediately....well your out of luck, i would love to collect some of thier stuff but you got to have it available more then a month or two...sammy

hi sammy,

i totally understand how you felt.

to be honest, i'm delaying my this month's KC purchases as i am just playing safe with my month's budget, in anticipation of the new Figarti V2 preorders.

I was taken by surprise by the speed of the last V2 sales, and i will not would like to miss out again on the new V2 and other Figarti releases, like, the figure pack, and control vehicle.

saying that, i dont see a likelihood that Figarti will increased its quantity, i think it had carved out an excellent position, somewhere between K&C and HB.

My 2 cents..

Sincerely,

Nasir Kasmani.

I think this problem is strictly with the fantastic V2 sets. Most the V1 and other sets are still out there and available I believe thru various shops?

Limiting things to 100 is a deliberate marketing tactic which Rick has explained on the forum. When Figarti mass produced stuff a few years ago like Britains did pre 2006 a large unsold inventry was left which eventually worked its way onto the market at a very low price. This undermined everything as all you had to do was wait for your item to show up at 50% off sale. That is why rick decided to limit things to 100 each. I presume as his company build market share he may increase the number of each set produced.

Damian

I saw the V2 at the West Coaster and something struck me about it. I thought there was two hundred and had no idea the sets were going that fast. Turns out there was only a hundred. When I ordered it I just knew that I wanted it. Funny how things turn out.

I believe that the V-1 sets with exception of a few of the figure sets are pretty much sold out! In short, if you wanted the entire set-up, you might have to venture into the infamous secondary market. Great news for Figarti though!
