Anyone have any tips on colors for painting sandbags? Also what is the right consistency for overwash? I was thinking of using a light grey with a dark earth overwash for weathering. Am I going in the right direction?
Thanks for any help.

Try beige as a base or even sand. Then dry brush the light grey. Then do the wash. Should look really good.

I would suggest Vallejo Iraqi Sand or Dark Sand. These are water based and can be easily thinned for washes.

I used Americana's Desert Sand with a Dark Chocolet wash for all of my mealie bags.........The Lt.

What kind of inks and where are they available? I have never used inks as a wash.
Thanks
