Guys, what's your opinion on the «Nemesis» book, written by Max Hastings on Japan's WWII defeat? I've read «Armageddon» on the fall of Germany and enjoyed it a lot. Basedon that I think Nemesis would be a goog get...Any thoughts?

Dear Paulo,

I rate it very well. I thought some of the insight was new and thought provoking. I did not realise the scale of the Burma campaign for example, or why the USAAF started dropping incendiaries, or how disciplined the Japanese were on Okinawa which is why they caused so many more casualties.

I hope that you are well.

Very best wishes

Kevin

PS, I hope the glossy book is to your taste when it comes out.

Hi Kevin, how are you?
Many thanks for your insight on this book.
About books I see you've been pretty busy, and I also see your hard work is paying off...BIG TIME!;). The book looks fantastic, excellent photos, and the glossy one looks like a big success too. Best wishes!

Best regards,
Paulo
