Who can tell me something about the Nemrod 54mm Resin figure kits? They look quite nice but I am not sure of their (true) size and know nothing about their quality.

I'd say they are very precise, excellent castings of superb quality.
As of the scale, although called 54mm, I can not imagine any current toy soldier line they would match with. Compared to the Toy Soldiers we know here they are rather small but do fit with other popular miniature kit manufacturers like Pegaso, Andrea, Le Cimier, ..., just to name a few.

nemrod resin kit figures are 1/35 scale. The blend in with any figure kit on the market in 1/35 scale. These do not blend with toy soldiers. I had several of these figure kits when I was doing a lot of scale modeling.

Nemrod kits are superb models, they are true 54mm scale but will not fit with the larger scale figures like K&C, Frontline, Delprado etc. They are usually made up of plastic and resin parts the cavalry are usually resin soldier and historex plastic horses, which need beefing up as the 2 horse halves when joined together are slightly skinny, I usually put plasticard between the 2 halves before glueing,which means the saddlery and riders legs need to be adjusted accordingley. All the other bits and pieces are plastic. I have a pic of one I made up in the plastic and paper thread on the forum

Thanks for the replies guys. We seem to have some difference on the size question. Are they true 54mm from sole to eyes, which would fit with WB matt or true 54mm from sole to top of head, which would be smaller than that? Also John, I found that thread and as I commented before, it looks great. You say there though that is a Historex horse, that is different right?
