Have any of you heard about these guys? Michtoy has some great pic's up on their site. Lokks like the 60mm world gets a whole lot bigger over night. Great WWII figs with some great crew weapons!

I warned everyone on the Forum last year about The Collectors Showcase.

Be very careful dealing with these guys I had nothing but trouble.

They put through an unauthorized charge on my card, issued a partial

refund for items they never shipped, a real nightmare.

Be advised!

thats too bad! Have they been around for a while? Some of the stuff looks simply brilliant! Guess I will just use Mich Toy as they have always been great to me.

Thanks for the heads up!

Yes you could certainly go through Michigan Toy Soldiers, they are very

nice. I have done business with them for a long time and they are great.

This other outfit I would not deal with. Big ideas, big storys, big problems.

So I'm just advising the other Forum members to be careful.

I was just about to place a pre-order for one of the 101st ABN Sets just to see if would be as good as the picture showed. One my still working brain cells kicked in and recalled the problem you had. So I let it be. I hope they read this. Knowing you I'm sure they will.

I know NJJA had problems with this company, but I don't think the same kind of problem would or has happened with Michigan Toy Soldier. I have bought many things from them and found them to be a great and valuable dealer. So, if ordering these figures is with Mich Toy Soldier, I do not believe that credit card abuse or ordering problems such as NJJA described would ever happen. I trust these folks enough that they keep my credit card on file; and, I don't do that with just any old internet store.

As stated earlier:

My problem was with The Collector Showcase, so I would take what they

say with a grain of salt.

Michigan Toy Soldier has served me quite well for years, and I recommend

them highly.

I never had any problems with Michigan too. Highly recommanded.

And I am seriously thinking to buy the LAH in Kursk + the Eastern accessories + the large diorama base. Those products are simply fantastic.

It looks lile I am in...although I think I have become a K&C "Groupee", Didn't someone use that term a while back (Soldiers and Vehicles only). Got my first Honour Bound Tank They have it hands Down."Get Real" ..... Firebat

My experiences with The Collector's Showcase have been good. I have a few of their larger scale figures and bust and believe they are quite good representations. I especially like the bust of Rommel and Montgomery.

The first time I ordered, the Rommel bust arrived with damaged goggles. I emailed The Collector's Showcase and they sent me another one no questions asked.

Semper Fi!

Do we actually know what size they are?................. Firebat

According to their sales rep, the figures are actually 60mm or close to it and he said they would match up well with K & C, Honour Bound and NMA. Won't know for sure until I actually see them in person..........

I saw them yesterday in London. They look quite nice and have some good action poses. The size is definitely not 1/32. It's at least 1/30. It actually looked slightly bigger than K&C to me but it's hard to tell unless you have them side by side.

Standout piece was the motorcycle combo. It looked excellent.

Whatever the size difference though you would not be able to display them with K&C. The painting style is just not compatible. That's not a criticism just that these new figure have a more realistic look to them as opposed to K&C's bright style.
