The gun set looks great but I need to see more picture angles to see the camo patterns. The patterns look odd but that may just be angle and light. Nice action set. I like the wounded guy and the guy pushing the ammo up. -- Al

Here is the club figure as well

I think this camo pattern is excellent. I can't say for sure if it was used to much in Normandy but I think it was used in Poland and possibly the eastern front. None the less these are excellent sets and I'm getting the 7.5 and club figure.

Poland, Battle of France and Eastern Front (Barbarossa part) was the main use, but it was a very common gun with infantry divisions everywhere as an offensive weapon.

Looks great. The 75mm infantry gun is one of my favorite pieces, widely used in a bunch of theaters-but rarely discussed and pretty much ignored in toy soldier circles.
I'm hoping there's a winter version in the plans.

This set is really growing on me. I really like how TGM sets tell an individual story and that they manage to capture the “action of the moment” really well. These will be a wonderful addition to any collection, but particularly useful in a diorama. It’s all good news… :D

Mike,

Fully agree, a winter version would be fantastic! Alby

The overwhelming majority of my collection is early war, The gun is a must but I will hold off hoping for some jackbooted germans to man this gun.

Got an update from TG about the new SS sets being repainted. The decision by TG to repaint the green patterns is a good one. The green reminded me of mint chocolate chip ice cream. The new, muted repaint is far superior and has erased my doubts about the camo patterns expressed in the above post. Good work, TG. -- Al

Al that is great news. Although I like the sculpt, I have held off on these sets thus far as the “choc chip” camo looked a little to fresh, hence my appetite for a winterized set.
