new action adventure/war movies (1 Viewer)

Besides the new Indiana Jones and Mongol movies has anybody seen anything about these type of movies.The last few haven't really done that well and I was wondering if maybe Hollywood is staying away from these for awhile.

It is axiomatic that Hollywood producers, like generals, are generally fighting the last war. So bad receipts (and high costs) for a genre can reduce its appeal. That said, it would seem from looking at projects in production that there are many more A&As in the pipeline. Take a look here for example:
