How about a «renewal» of the Arnhem figures, with British and American paras and British armoured trying to do the job of getting the bridge too far? I think today's K&C figure quality has clearly improved when compared with the earlier Arnhem sets and there is a precedent: the «renewal» of the Iwo Jima figures. The earlier figure's value is a different matter... Just a thought...

I would be very interested.............................Firebat

I understand that there are plans in the pipeline for more Red Devils at Pegasus Bridge, however they could still be sometime off yet.I would love to see a new series of Paras,as you say above the realism of current kc sets would make this series really desirable.Sten guns/bren guns/mortar teams the mind boggles at what Andy could come up with.! Speaking personally this would be the series i would like to see most.We live in hope.

I would also love to see Arnhem revisited, but only after K&C upgrades the tracks on its armored vehicles. The 1995 wood 30 Corps Sherman, 1997 wood Cromwell and 1996 wood and resin Bren Gun Carrier (not the polystone one from the 1999 second Arnhem release) from the original Arnhem release are some of the best and most realistic vehicles K&C or anyone else ever produced. If we revisit the campaign, in addition to the vastly improved figures, I would love to see a polystone Firefly Sherman or Cromwell with overall detail (especially tracks) of equal or better quality to that produced by Honour Bound or Figarti. It would be so disappointing to see vastly improved figures sold with vastly inferior armor. As things stand, no polystone tracked vehicle K&C has ever produced has been the equal of those classic wood, metal and resin vehicles. Figarti has come the closest, and Honour Bound is getting there as well. Come on Andy, step up!

Yes, tanks, I don't know the earlier versions made of wood and metal, but what you say makes a lot of sense to me. I try hard, because K&C's tanks are the perfect scale for their wonderful figures, but I have to admit I am not a polystone lover. I like good diecast and I prefer something like Dragon ( 1/35 or 1/72 ) or Minichamps ( although I admit Minichamps lack realism ). That said, I like the other K&C armoured vehicles ( not tanks ), like the Greif: somehow they look much better than the tanks, they look like real metal, maybe because of not being so rugged... Uh, a little confusing I guess

Viriato,

Take a look on Bill Sager's website and you can see the original primitive wood vehicles from 1991 as well as the incredibly detailled wood, resin and metal vehicles from 1995-1997. The quality of these vehicle is on a par with anything diecast I've ever seen. The guns elevate, the hatches are hinged to open and close, and there are extras like packs and boxes on the turrets and decks of the tanks. The only beef I've ever heard about the vehicles is than many of them are too clean (some came without weathered paint jobs). I would like to see K&C produce vehicles made of a mixture of polystone parts and metal detail parts, with searate bogie wheels and tracks, like those produced by Figarti. I think these could compare with the old wood, resin and metal works of art, while remaining affordable.
