They look good!

Guard Corps was great, Alan and Ed did a really fine job. I collected the Kaiser's Birthday Parade series, but I also have the Union officer kissing his sweetheart goodbye (looks suspiciously like Custer). They're just the kind of figures I like-they're painted in gloss paints, like traditional toy soldiers, but they have really great detail in the casting.

I have three more of the 1A set which I am keeping - I just didn't see a need for four. Lol...

Ed didn't really have that much to do with the figures, they were really the product of Alan.

When I was in high school, my dad was going to apprentice me out to Tom Loback and Alan silk to have me paint figures.

I never got to do it though and thinking back on it I think I missed out.
