Hi All,

Just saw a new line from Black Hawk this morning named "Napoleon's Retreat 1812". I'm very excited about this line! I have the Manes and Marzano figures which are well done. This is a interesting history subject which hasn't been covered to much by the TS manufacturers. Check it out!

I've seen them. They don't look bad but I doubt they are the quality of Marzano.

Opps...I meant to say that I saw a website which was advertising the new lineup. I have the Manes and Marzano line which is nice but haven't had a chance to eyeball or hold one of the newer Black Hawk figures in hand. Hopefully, they will be compatible! My Manes and Marzano figures get lonely. ^&grin

Nice looking figures from a period that I collect.

I'd like to see then 'in the flesh' but they are now on my 'wish list'

is similar to the Andrea Grenadier carrying a drummer boy kit, which I have painted here:

but it is the same company!

John,
this is available as a kit from Andrea.

I purchased six sets, liked them well enough to purchase the other fourteen sets.
I have the Manes and Marzano sets also. The Black Hawk sets’ situation does not look as grim as the Manes and Marzano figures so I would not mix them myself, but that’s me.

I'll post better photos of them when others received.

They look great.
The individual carrying the eagle looks similar to One made by Oryon.

I am thinking of picking these up to make a diorama on Napoleon's Retreat from Moscow, 1812. Just out of curiosity what dealer did you guys pick them up from from? Does anyone know of Black Hawk has a Canadian distributor?
Cheers,
Brendan

Brendan I picked what Sierra had in stock from them and the balance I ordered from Andrea Depot USA WEB site.
The Andrea USA depot is in Texas.
