Received my naval version of Mountford's Bofors yesterday delivered by Dave Love in person, no less!! He assured me that this is not his usual method of delivery, he just happened to be in the area on other business so took the opportunity of dropping it off. It is a beautiful piece with delicate little photo etched sights. Dave told me that all versions are now available and can be seen on his website www.mountfordmodels.co.uk In conversation he also told me that the new Christmas show release will represent the Home Front with a vehicle and two shop fronts! Unlike most buildings presented these days these will be undamaged and British! Dave says that they will be ideal as background for any figures from the Crimean period up to the present day.
