My Casemate catalog arrived today, spotted two absolutely "must haves";

Barksdales Charge by by Philip Thomas Tucker, due in May; an entire book dedicated to this charge and the action around the Trostle Farm, I'm 100% in.

Waterloo Battlefield Guide by David Buttery, due in March; well since I am hoping to get there this June, why not, plus it's a book on Waterloo, so once again, I'm 100% in.

George, saw this Barksdales Charge on Amazon UK last night and it looks really good, I know a certain UK based Reb who will like this:wink2:

Waterloo sounds good too.

I figured Bob would love that book; as far as Amazon, I had a 100.00 gift certificate for over a year, most of the books I buy deal in wargaming and they do not carry many of them, if any, so two days ago I bought four books with the certificate, then these two books get announced............:mad:

Always the way isn't it George:rolleyes2: As well as loads of WW1 books coming out for the 2014 anniversary there are tons of new ACW books being published too. Sometimes I scroll through the list thinking yes I could read that and that and that....too many books and not enough cash mate!

Just went through the lists on the website and it looks like trouble is brewing on the checkbook front. Egads, there are a ton of things that look to be fascinating 'must haves' coming up or already out. I saw books on Agincourt, Crecy, Hastings, Thermopylae, Shanghai 1937, John Bell Hood, Chancellorsville, Fredricksburg, and that doesn't even touch the WW1 stuff! {sm5} Well, looks like another year in the poor house.{sm2} -- Al

Rob,
Thanks for the heads up on Amazon, both the Waterloo book and the ACW book are up on there now with free shipping at a massive discount if you preorder, delivery is expected in April and June, so I decided to pull the trigger..................
