We have web pages made for all the new Britains figures! You can begin pre-ordering at your leisure.

For now they can all be seen at http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/new.shtml
We will have them added to the other portions of the web site in the next day or so.

We'll also add descriptions later - we wanted to get these on so you could properly see them.

This is definitely not the 'former' Britains!

Thank you Peter! The new Valley ACW sets look great!
Hey Ken , what kind of Muskets are those Virginians carrying in the charging 5 figure set?
I also have a weakness for HYW , so the new matte finish Knights are a welcome new range.I'm in trouble already.
FUBAR;)

Pardon me for jumping in here. I'm not completely sure, but it appears that the Johnnies are armed with M1855 Springfield rifle-muskets. That, or a Confederate variation made with equipment captured from the Harper's Ferry Arsenal.

It looks like the Federals are armed with M1861 Springfield rifle-muskets. That pattern was much more common than the 1855 in the Union armies.

If anyone knows for certain, please let us know.

I agree that the figures look great. There are many nice detail touches on them. I especially like the rolled up trouser cuffs on the Federal color bearer. I also like the array of mustaches and beards on both sides. Those definately add an "early war" feel to the figures. In sporting some of the more popular civilian hair styles of the day, they don't look like they've been on campaign very long yet.

Has anyone purchase the new Britians German Steyr Truck yet? If so, what do you think of it? I have all their Mark IV tanks and thought it might go with them. Michael

I got the steyr truck, not bad, my big mistake was buying the entire new Stalingrad series. Every time I look at them I get po,d. I could have spent that money else where.
As I mentioned before, the figures vary in size, nothing as good as the protos at OTSN. I wish the truck would have just been painted gray so I could use it with other troops.

What color is it? The pictures on Treefrog show a weathered gray. Michael

I wonder what an airbrush could do to make the color more panzer gray? Michael
