I'm really looking forward to seeing the new kettenkrad with 2 fallschirmjagers featured in the 2006 catalogue.

The D-Day breakout sounds like it has potential to be an excellent range if done well.
The Waffen SS and US infantry are already quite well represented in this area so i'd like to see

a) More fallschirmjagers. We haven't seen many FJ's in normandy gear so far.
It would be good to assemble a squad maybe with a motorcycle combination, schwimmwagen or kubelwagen. Also an FJ mortar crew.

b) British paratroopers. This is a popular subject but really unrepresented in this scale. I was really excited by K&C 's announcement of a Pegasus Bridge series but that seems to have been placed on hold for now.
This seems like a good opportunity to get in with some quality British paras, accompanied maybe with a recce jeep.

Nice ideas. More Fallschirmjaeger for sure this year - like the mortar idea, Brit paras - yes please, too, but maybe a little later.

Thanks Eazy.

Yes, Heavy weapons and crews for the both the German and British Paratroopers would be a splendid addition.Of course some Airborne in action figures would be great too.
I painted quite a few Conte Plastic British Airborne{ for Arnhem} and have not continued with the project for sometime due to the lack of any heavy weapons teams.Other than a couple Valiant prone Airborne with PIAT I found , a little small but will do.So at least a Vickers and crew would be a good start!
Thanks!

I would really love to see a 2d Armored Division 66th Armored Regiment Sherman linking up with the 101st with some Infantry Support. How about some Canadians or Poles or even some French 1st Armored Division:eek: there were a lot of troops there besides the British and the US 4th Infantry.

I saw the new Kett with Fallschirmjagers today at the London Toy Show.
It's a really great piece. If WB can keep up this quality and add to it then they have the makings of a really great series here. The leap in quality from the previous WW2 releases (ie Stalingrad) is astounding.

More Fallschirmjagers! :)
