I finally ran out of space in my large soldier cabinet and was only able to display half my collection. My wife had been talking about refacing our fireplace for some time, perfect opportunity for more soldier space. She received a new fireplace and I received two additional cabinets. With the fireplace and cabinets done and paint dry I thought I would share the wonderful Alma figures I purchased from Michel (Mardasson).

Hope you enjoy one side of the fireplace.

Neat figures and case. I was looking at some cases at Ikea and I need more room for display. Slowly I took over the house^&grin and I think my wife is reaching the limit of her patience. Then the next thing I know she is looking at cases. Maybe there is a chance for another case. I have eight cases now. Nice photos. J

Really nice display of superb figures there - but when you (eventually) run out of space again - do you think she would notice if you slipped in a few more glass shelves in between...........:rolleyes2:???

Just a thought! - johnnybach^&grin

That looks very good.
The cabinet does and, of course, the beautiful Alma figures.
The Zouaves are my favorites.

Very nice too! ^&cool But then I am a little biased towards the Alma figures as I painted the masters. ^&grin

Thanks for shaowing us all your ALMA figures and your new cabinet.

The troops look even better when massed groups are displayed, and having space is whats needed.

I love these figures, and have quite a few, but no duplicates..... maybe I'd better see Michael again, next time that I'm in Belgium :)

....And managed to get the bases painted in that nasty colour :wink2:

more comments like that and you might be a ghost rider ......:rolleyes2::wink2:

I do not have a display case yet and was leaning towards a natural wood color but after seeing your I might lean towards white. Very nice and a great collection to boot!

Beautiful figures and the white shelves/cabinets really show them off well. I prefer the white finish although all the shelves I own are natural wood finish. I find the natural wood too dark to highlight the figures. The white is perfect. -- Al

Robert,

Very nice display ...and figures.
But, as Jeff, I may be a bit partial to ALMA Figures :)

Best regards,

Michel
