Del Prado is at it again, releasing new Civil War figures to coincide with the Gettysburg anniversary (for only $17.50)! They will slowly be rolling out all summer...here is what we just got in:

Private, 24th Michigan, Iron Brigade 1863

Private, 13th Alabama, Archer's Brigade 1863

I bought the 24th Michigan Iron Brigade figure from the frog. Very nice especially the price. Fit's in scale with my other 200 Iron Brigade troops. Good quality, nice firing line pose, multiples would be great for filling out the firing ranks.:salute::

Thanks for the heads up I always thought Del Prado were 65-70mm but these look more like Conte/Britains size.

The cannon was a good deal too. $12.99. Needs assembly, a little paint , but perfectly acceptable.
Yes, The ACW troops { at least the 24th Michigan figure} is perfectly scaled at 54-56mm.
I avoid all makes of the larger figures,65-70mm, no matter how nice they are.And there are a LOT of nice ones!

Thanks for that as I was curious about the Gun and $12.95 sounds good to me!....Probably would repaint it green though.

Ragnar, The guns are inexpensive enough to add some battlefield damage, broken spokes and the rim torn, or even one wheel blown off, tube dismounted. I have probably 24 assorted Britain's , Frontline, Trioni guns and plenty of crewmen. More guns than I need , 4 full batteries! But I never could bring myself to battle damage one for a diorama. Too expensive.
These will do though!
Also, once in a while Conte has the metal playset gunners on ebay as well as the resin ones. Paint up fine and will go good with these cannons.

Fubar that's one thing im lacking with my ACW collection some good artillery I have about 300 infantry Conte/Britains/Blackcat kits
but never did get to far with artillery I did pick up the Conte single color arty set and painted that up but never did get those resin figs.
Might have another look into them and with the price of the Del Prado Gun cant go wrong there!...might put together a few guns and crew just for fun.
But for big gun battery's for both Union And Confederate I have the Perry's 28m range on my mind!
