Hello everybody,
today I received the new "Standard", the Britains collector's club magazine and want to share a photo of the newly announced exclusive club figure for this year.
A beautiful mounted figure, glossy finish, of a Coldstream Guards Adjutant, 1822.
A stunning figure.

Forgot to ask does it say when this will be released? Wonder if it will be available at Treefrog for us non-Britains Collector Club members ?

I wouldn't expect so. Might be additional incentive to join the club now.

This fellow was a fun one to research and sculpt. There is a wonderful Denis Dighton painting of the Coldstream Guards Ca 1821 that I used for one of the references. He would work perfectly with the OR figure in the parade rest position in the Redcoats line too.
This figure will only be availible to the Club Members like the 1815 Guards set 'Ready for Duty'.
There will be a couple of interesting new mounted figures added to the Redcoats/Bluecoats ranges in the Fall collection and these will be general release items...but if you would like this one you will need to be a member.
All the best, Ken

Hi Konrad,

I agree a stunning figure indeed.....if I collected gloss figures this would have to make an appearance.

I am going to preorder it tonight and am just looking at the upcoming "Petticoats" to find him his Lady so he won't be alone on the shelf.

He looks like a character out of a Jane Austen novel. Mr Darcy perhaps

To put my two cents in, "stunning!" I would expect that this mounted fellow may single-handidly boost the Club membership. Superb job, Ken.. Mike
