Hi Gustavflyer,

Welcome to the forum. If you have just starting collecting toy soldiers, you are in for quite an adventure! Joining the Treefrog Forum is also an adventure which can add a great deal to your hobby pleasure. The Forum is a source for identifying new friends, acquiring new information, learning new skills, discovering toy soldiers you did not know existed, and gaining display ideas. I cannot begin to tell you the numerous ways participation in the Treefrog Forum has helped me and has enhanced the pleasure of my hobby.

It is always helpful to tell us something about what you collect and the areas of history that most interest you. When you have the time, please share some of this information with us.

Again, welcome. Please visit often and post frequently!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Wecolm To The Forum. The Most Important Thing Is To Have Fun And Collect What You Like. The Hobby Is A Good Way To Keep Your Mind Off Of Reality.

Hello all, I really do appreciate the kind words of encouragement and welcome. I am collecting K&C's Battle of the Bulge series, the Normandy range of figures, LAH, and finally I want to start a "Fall of Berlin" collection. My theme is "From D-day to Berlin" and I am stopping there. :D I also have some of Britains tanks including 4 of their Panzer IV's. I do have K&C's Hetzer and the French SPG. This hobby is so addicting and such that I have to pace myself. It is going to be a very long race here so I better not bolt too quickly out of the starting gate. Cheers Gentlemen..................

Tell us - Why the TAGLINE "Gustavflyer" ???

Well it is unusual isnt it:) I often play WW2 flight sims online and my favorite plan is the Bf-109 or Me-109. My favorite series of that aircraft is the G-series or the "Gustavs" as they were known. Since I fly the "Gustav" I coined the name Gustavflyer. It may need to be spelled Gustavflier to be correct but I like the other spelling better, its looks cooler:D

Welcome. And by-the-by, your not the only one who is occassionally green with envy. That is one of the best things for me about this forum, being able to see the great stuff others have. I have received many great ideas from the information I have read and I am very thankful to all the members for it.
