:) Hello Guys! Just took a Glimpse of the Fall Release of the NEW WW2 Collectors Showcase! Looks very Impressive, it shows a MARDER lll/M, a SDKFZ-222, Armored Car, and a 20CM Flakerving Anti-Aircraft Gun; also, British Airborne (Red Devils)? WOW!

Sorry John got to disagree here. The vehicles look very good. But oh the figures!! Still got that Zombie look about them, was really hoping they'd have sorted that but i don't think they will now.I mean look at the Britsh Para carrying his mate, just not realistic face i'm afraid. Its a shame because the poses/vehicles are very good.If they ever soften or 'Humanise' those faces i will certainly buy.

Once again - When you look at the others .... King and Country is the best. IMO. ;)

The figures are bloody awful. That has been my view from the first time Collectors Showcase appeared and I see no reason to change my opinion.

However, I find it intriguing that they're making sets for Arnhem. Since there may not be a lot of K & C German sets for Arnhem, it's possible you could use Collectors Showcase vehicles (not the figures, obviously) for a diorama.

Yes the vehicles might work well enough, funny how they are releasing a Marder the same time as NMA.You'd have thought these companies would keep an eager eye out so as not to clash.I mean K&C's Arnhem is possibly the most eagerly awaited range of the year, you would think that CC might have timed it better.

:( Well my opinion is that I don't care about their Figure Faces, War-is-War; Stress and Anxiety is HELL! But, my Dissapointment is NOT ENOUGH (Fighting) INFANTRY Figures! This is My Cry towards NMA, HONOUR BOUND, COLLECTORS SHOWCASE, ETC! Infantry is the QUEEN -of -Battle! I want Mean Fightiing MACHINES, for my Personnal Collection! No Walks in the Park! CIAO!

I like to have realism in my figures,i don't think people even under real stress look like zombies. Each to their own of course but i like natural human looking faces.Shame because their vehicles look good.

Rob

Well the para being carried may be about to die being so badly wounded so he may actually look a bit like a Zombie
Regards
Damian

Not only they have the Zombie Look but some of then has weird proportions, look it the boots of some SS Berlin 38 doesn't really goes with the rest of the body, they’re too big!.

Cheers:)

The British were using the Mk 5 Sten in Arnham witch had the pistol grip at the front , but it missing on the figure

Rob,

A Bridge Too Far has been my favorite war movie since I first saw it in the theatre as a kid. This is one series of which I intend to buy every piece. Jim

I agree with you on both points Jim.As a kid many Xmas afternoons were spent watching 'Bridge' with Turkey sandwhiches and Quality st!.I too want every piece from the forthcoming Arnhem range, even if it means delaying the LRDG.:)
