New Confederate Generals (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen these before. It is obviously Lee, Jackson, Stuart, and, I'm guessing, Pelham or, more likely, Edward Alexander? I am impressed that someone finally got Stuart's uniform jacket colors correct. As the figure shows, the jacket lapels were gray, not yellow as is so often done. These figures look really nice. -- Al

Yes, that is Major Pelham. These figures look pretty nice and I know I'm going to be getting them.

I'm not really crazy about the beards on Stuart and Jackson.I think another manufacturer's figures look much more like the real people than these.Sorry it's JMO.

It could be the photos but the posings on the first two figures look rather stiff and unnatural.

I thought I would just ask, I am considering on purchasing the Confederate marchers. If anybody out there has already purchased them and would kindly post some pics, thanks :salute::

The acw seems to always have personality figures. Every company does them. In some ways more than WWII just an observation

Ouch...I keep thinking about adding ACW to my collecting and these new figures aren't helping much. You can almost hear Jackson urging his troops to 'give 'em the bayonet'...

I think the reasons for that is the ACW generals seem larger than life to us as none of us were alive in there time. Also I think the ACW was the defining event in our national history even more than WWII.Lastly I think people think of them as fighting generals leading from the front more so than the generals in more modern wars (not counting Patton {sm0}}.
