Our very own Beau from Plastic Battalion is going to debut prototypes of his first set of figures at the Texas show. For all you Civil War fans it will be a set of Confederates. More incentive to attend the Texas show.

Looking forward to some new plastic.
My concern is will it be the new 1-32 (TSSD & Conte) or the old 1-32 (Accurate, Imex)?
Will buy if it,s the new 1-32, won,t if it,s the old.

I would bet on the new.

Eborris you will be at the Texas Show could you check on that scale question? Thanks,
Gary

I shall make it my duty to do so. Since, they are Confederates if they have no bed rolls they could make passable Alamo defenders. Always thinking.

Just read on their website that the new figures are sculpted to go with TSSD figures. That is encourageing news.

I'm sure they will fit in nicely. I would imagine they will be of a similar plastic to TSSD too.

I was thinking the same thing about possibility of converting them to Alamo defenders. I will be at the Texas Show too. Look forward to checking them out.

I'll have a table there be sure to stop by and say, hey. I'll also have some interesting Alamo pieces for sale.

Hey All,

Just wanted to let you know that these new figures will be the "new" 1/32 scale. They are made to specifically line up with figures from Toy Soldiers of San Diego. It was a hard decision, knowing that lots of collectors like the smaller 1/32 scale, but in the end, we wanted to follow what the other current manufacturers were doing.

If you're at the Texas Show, please stop by our table and introduce yourself. We are really looking forward to hearing some feedback and your ideas for what future ranges we should consider doing.

Thanks for your interest!

Welcome to the forum Beau. Wish you the best on your new line of figures. I did not hear about it at Indy when I said "hello". Hope all goes well at the Texas Show. Leadmen

Thanks for the welcome Leadman. At the Indy show, I wasn't quite ready to "let the cat out of the bag" yet. Still needed to get everything organized from a "business" standpoint.

I have received the prototypes back from the factory, and they look great. I'll have them, plus the original sculpt resins, at the Texas Show for people to look at.

Beau
