I don't understand this whole Ideaology Any More, of waiting for MOST of the WW2 Armor and Vehicles, that was Suggested or Requested, by ALL of the Forum Collector's; which hasn't be MADE, Yet? What , does it take to make K&C, Realize, and to understand , What the Collector's Really want , for the WW2 ERA? 
John,we here on the forum make up only a fraction of collectors worldwide.Also we have no right to think just because we ask for it its bound to be made.I'm sure Andy and the guys at K&C have all their own ideas.We can suggest as much as we like,doesn't mean its going to be made.

What is the Sense, in Buying Toys, if you aren't satisfied, that you coudn't get the Specific Toys, to fit into your Personal Toy Collection? To me it makes No-Sense, to Buy" Everything"; that some Toy Company, has Manufactured! Its like throwing the Cards on the Table,and waiting for the Manufacturer, hoping that you Buy EVERYTHING, that he/she Makes', even though you know , that you don't Collect 'ALL' other Toys , that don't pertain to your Collection! Times are Bad, and Now is the Time to be Very Scrutiny, and Selective , and 'ONLY' Collect, what you need, in the Toy World! The Days of Buying Anything and Everything , has come to an End!I know that the DEALER'S , are slowing Down on the Sales; also,the OLD Retired Toys, are Loosing their Value! Just Look at E-Bay, many Seller's are Reducing their Price's! Its now a Buyer's Market! Like I mentioned before, if I see that the Future Dispatches, isn't my (Cup-of-Tea,) sort of Speak; then I don't Buy it! Can't Afford EVERTHING, anymore, their is MUCH More Priority's like Food on the Table, Gas for my Cars, Money to get me through Each month,ETC! Sorry for telling like it is, but wake up and smell the Rose's! It used to be a Game, Now its Reality!
Despite the economic situation the fact remains you cannot simply demand a company makes something just because you want it,it doesn't work like that John.We as customers have the right to suggest whatever we like and hope it may get made.In the same way K&C have every right to make exactly what they like whether we have suggested it or not.And lets be honest John i think as K&C are probably the most popular Toy soldier company in the world and have built a very successful business,they know a lot more than we do on how to do it.

.However what i'm trying to say is there is a diff between listing what you'd like to see and demanding it gets made.Andy has said many times that he does take on board what is suggested,sometimes it gels with what he wants to make and sometimes is doesn't.And when it doesn't we just have to accept that as founder and director of the company he will go with what he wants.
Rob now is the time we all listen.We carn't always get what we want but maybe this year we can get more. Sales talk .K&C will make things we want now more with times getting tough.Andy also listens and he we'll make what we want to keep sales going.The man is good in what he does .Stop watch listen and only do what will sell in times of trouble.Simmo.Hey Simmo,i don't think it is a dig at all mate.And i hear what you are saying about lists.Of course yes i have a long list of stuff i'd like,it grows rapidly!
There is nothing wrong with Johns lists,they often contain some excellent ideas no doubt about it.But the minute you start demanding and trying to dictate it will get anyone's back up and they will go in another direction.I think part of the problem is that sometimes we on this forum forget how unusual it is to have almost direct access to the director of our favourite company,i used to collect 1/6th scale Dragon figs and getting a reply to an email was like trying to get blood out of a stone.
There is also no doubt that 'slow and steady wins the race'.Some years back i was part of a 'campaign' to persuade Andy to return to Arnhem.There was no demanding just a steady and growing number of people asking for it,and whilst i'm sure Andy wanted to go back to Arnhem anyway it no doubt helped.
From my experience in this collecting hobby and from talking to Andy i just think that whilst Andy is happy to consider suggestions demanding will have the opposite result.
