We have a saying that in Spanish says 'en casa de herrero cuchillo de palo'. It's the equivalent to 'The shoemaker's son always goes barefoot'.

No, I don't keep one set of each painted. There always no time for that, since that is the last priority. I paint the sample based on which the painters will work. And I paint the first set, which is the one that is photographed for the catalog. But it always is for an old customer who buys the sets before they are made. It's the least I can do to thank his faithfulness and support.

The other issue is the space. If I'd have one of each of our sets I wouldn't have where to keep them

What I do have is the master for each set. I can remake every set if necessary.
