Hello,

I finally decided which elephant will be the next I will be making. I've liked it for a long time now, its time has come.

The Rajgarh State Elephant






I will be posting pictures of the making process as usual.

The Camel Riders from Cutch, carrying emblems is the other set I've planned for April. I love the idea that there are 2 guys on each camel, and that they carry flags with animal shaped emblems.

Excellent choices! Did you see the version William Britain did of the camels in matte finish?

Scott - Yes, I've seen them. They are larger, and in matte finish. I haven't considered the matte figures' collection from Britain's to be competing with my glossy 54mm line. Do you feel that making them would be repeating a set already made?
I chose them because they are SO colorfull. I'm planning to make 3 sets of those, all different and with different flags-emblems, so they all make a large group like the real one at the Retainers Review. I think they will look stunning

No I don't think there will be a problem with you making them. I just mentioned it in case you hadn't seen them. I think your collectors will definitely buy them. They will look great in a group !!

Yes it is Gorgeous Anna - I'm always astonished by sculptors who make things that I too like to paint.:salute:: And thank goodness that you are "messy" too - I thought I was the only one!!! Well done indeed. Johnnybach
