A slew of new Zulu War sets. British Artillery , Cavalry, dismounted cavalry, x 3 new Zulu Regiments.
I bought x 2 each of the 1st two ZULU releases. Excellent , easy to assemble figures. 36 warriors, no two exactly alike.http://www.expeditionaryforce.com.sg/catalogue-c-9.html

Exchanged emails with Scott Lam. His future releases include Rome and her enemies, 18th century conflicts for 2017.
2018 {Hopefully sooner} DARK AGES. My favorite!

I bought another 9 boxes from the Zulu line Monday night. Arrived here, Friday morning!

I'm amazed by what Scott is doing. My Ancients battle incorporating the Conte Spartans is one of my favourite displays! I'm really looking forward to the Romans - it's time for the Punic War!

Oh my, If he goes for Punic wars all my HAT 54mm will be totally obsolete ! Republican Romans and Hannibal and his allies in their product style would be fantastic. But I'm not sure which route he'll go.
They certainly would line up best with what he already has available, { Macedonians , Allies = Successor States}

By the way the new sets of Zulu's are fantastic. British 24th foot, excellent .Disciplined ranks. I like them.
Artillery set , 2 guns 8 crew and 1 Officer, excellent. British cavalry come with all the extra and different arms and weapons choices they show between the different sets. You get all the arms with Carbines, pistols, sabres.
Very versatile. I am having to do a little carving on the inside of the riders thighs { sorry buddy} and buttocks, even a little on the horse blanket to get a good snug fit. Although I would imagine standing in the stirrups was the proper way
for firing figures{ and perhaps even sword swingers} was perhaps the intention, they look, a little odd. So, carve away.

I agree the quality of the figures and their versatility are fabulous, I have bought numerous boxes of all the sets available to date and I am looking for ward to a second set of British Infantry in red with a kneeling pose.

I agree on the quality of these figures. However, the price is very high. No real objection on that, makers can charge what they want. But while they say 9 poses in reality it's 3 poses with separate arms and heads to "create" 9 poses. Again, that's fine, each of us can decide if we want to "put together" our figures. But, give that, should not the price be lower? I would think production costs would make these more affordable price wise. Maybe the expense of importing them from Singapore, I don't know. But these are higher than TSSD, CTS, Mars and those companies give you 8 different full poses so it's a little bit questionable if I want to spend $30 per set. I may on the Zulu's, can always use more poses, particularly the "with rifle" poses. I'll check my wallet at the Hackensack show in a few weeks. BTW how easy is it to plug the arms and heads in? I got a set of long coated civil war from X Force. The slouch head was an easy fit but the kepi head was not. Just wondering. They need to do it like the old Britains with long stubs that will fit. TSSD cavalry work the same, very snug fit. Conte Zulu and WW2? Not so good.

Very snug fit on most of the parts. Shields have to be glued on for the Zulu's.
Figs should be glued all around. Snug fit , but handling them much you'll have parts work free and fall off.
Price, yes a bit extreme. I find them worth it. Excellent group of sets to add to an existing collection.Had been waiting for NEW Zulu's.
I managed all 10 British Cavalry. Quite nice. I even managed a couple Troopers on TSSD horses just to see . Liked the results.

I use a Loctite Gel glue which works great with this plastic. I also tried the Cavalry on the TSSD horses but actually preferred them on the Imex ones.
