New Figarti releases check them out... (1 Viewer)

Bravo, some attention being paid to the Korean War, kudos to Figarti, hope the series does well.:)

I think our photos do not do us justice!

We will try to re-take the photos so that everyone gets a better sense of our products. Needless to say, we seriously need to improve our photography skills!

I agree with you on the photgraphy. Your products deserve a much better representation.

Rick, with all due respect for your company and the folks who do your figures, I don't think its just the way that they are photographed. They look very strange for some reason. Maybe its the facial expressions and the sizing proportions of the helmets, heads, and bodies. Then, add those features with the strange facial expressions and the not-so-good photos...

Sorry, just being honest with my opinion:eek: But you know about opinions, they are like butts, everyone has one and they all stink:eek:

No need to be sorry, an honest opinion is a valuable input.

We definitely need to improve on our sculpting, but generally speaking, we try to stay consistant with drawings or photos we sculpt from. But our Photos really make us look bad, we will need to improve on all fronts.

Are there any new releases coming for the vietnam series such as a m48 tank or a heuy helicopter?

Nice job with the terrain Alex.

I happened to like the faces and the detailing on these Figarti sets. Figarti has the detailing found in 1/35 modeling down well, I look forward to them improving on the durability like I know they will in the future.

Thanks for the complement on the Terrain, here is a better pic. I share the same thoughts as you on 1/32 scale. K&C 1/30 stuff is magnificent, but there is something gritty about 1/32 scale, especially Figarti's stuff. I also like that you can use the FOV vehicles with them. I know you are a fan of FOV also. I started with FOV, and yes I have gotten onto a lot of the fancy stuff lately, but putting together Britains, Figarti or ONWTC with the FOV is a lot of fun. Alex

A big thanks to Rick from Figarti for helping out with this one, and Richard From First Gear / Britains. I love those First Gear Trucks. The Tow Truck was originally US Post Office and I modified it to represent Navy Seabees Alex

It seems that somebody has been listening to all the requests for British Paratroopers:)

Aaaannnnnd.......we're off!
2007 looks like the year of the Red Devils.

And there would appear to be a first (and something I've been after someone doing for a while). The first Para pictured (pointing) is armed with the Patchett / Sterling prototype. This was designed as a replacement for the Sten and was introduced in to the British Armed forces in the early 50's and was used up until the 90's. However, 100 or so were doled out to Paras for trial in mid 1944.

I 'do' both 1/32 and 1/30, so I'll be giving the Paras a try. The more poses the better and although the paint job is a little different to Conte's Paras, I hope they'll mix and match nicely.

I'll still be getting the K&C Paras as well though. :)
