If I had any influence over John's new releases, I would like to have some more "action" posed figures for the Battle of Monongahela, especially for the 44th Regimant of Foot.
They are the most ornate to me (excluding the the Woodland Indians) and I started so late collecting, I was never able to acquire sets BM01 (3 firing), BM03 (3 with colours), BM06 (4 wounded) and BM08 (2 firing).
Having missed out on 2 "firing" (BM 01 and BM08) sets hurts, especially when "line firing" was a staple of this battle.
I would like to see an additional "firing" set, but I really don't know what John could do because when you mold guys firing, there are only so many ways you can pose them.
I'm sure he doesn't want to mimic an earlier release too closely.
I'm sure he doesn't want to dilute the integrity of the value of the limited edition 250 sets with similar poses just because I want them.
I have always wanted BM06 (4 wounded) because they are such good diorama pieces, but I guess I will just have to learn to live without them too.
John could easily do some more wounded in different poses, without copying the limited edition sets that are already collected and off the market.
I would also like to see another set of Colours, again as I missed BM03.
I have learned that his sets with such low limited editions will go fast, so it's best to pre-order instead of hunting for them 6 months later.
Just my opinion on hopeful future relaeses.
