Well I just inherited through luck and perseverence, and large collection of mainly castings- and casting material.

1. I seem to have the Johillco set 202? camel corps- these are hollowcast and not painted- perhaps stripped? did someone re-hollow-cast these? There is no box- I am looking forward to painting them...thoughts?

2. there is a large amount of hollowcast castings form all armies and era's- paint? melt? sell? combo?

3. th eprize in the large assortment of boxes-besides the casting pots. stoves etc, is what seem to be 'bulldog" gatling gun....anyone have info on this?

4. I also found one arab mounted britains camel...rough shape-but to me it is a fine patina!

if any of you all could offer any insight please let me know- I am not by any means a glossy expert.

Regards,
Grant

Hi Grant,

If you can post photos of the various figures then someone will be able to give you a better idea of what set it came from etc.

Looking forward to more information.

Dave

If you have ANY hollowcasts - please don't melt them!

If you don't want them - offer them for sale. They just don't make 'em any more. - johnnybach
