new FL collector (1 Viewer)

Hi all, my name is jacob and i just recently received my first FL piece. I had been collecting KC before, but after seeing a couple FL guys, i knew i had to convert!

My first purchase arrived yesterday, it was Hospitaller Grand Master Jean de Villiers.

Here is one with him with all my other KC guys.

He is off to the right. I absolutely love how he looks. I still think the KC guys look great, but FL is even better!

I don't think your collection was ever "small". when you were buying pieces by the handfuls it grew too quick to be considered small.

and yes, i did think about the romans. very tempting, but i have always loved the history of the crusades.

Jacob welcome to the FL forum...Congratulations on a great purchase....That is an excellent Crusader Figure one of my favorites....The FL Crusader line is simply amazing.....I was strictly collecting FL Stalingrad....But had to get into the Crusader Line......Can't wait for the mounted figures to be released. Welcome Jacob! I collect the FL Crusades and currently have all 23 figures from the series. That particular figure is also one of my favorites.

I do not own any FL personally but that will change here in the next few weeks when the Romans are dispatched. I have followed this company with great interest over the last couple years and am excited that they make something I can add to my collection.

Yes, well you are in good company here; they tend to have that effect on most of us.:wink2: I started with one French officer and now I am rather deep into the Napoleonic range.

There is another First legion collector named Sammy who by your post so far seems to have a very similar collecting experience with trying First Legion .. Haha, yep. we still do hard work here in the US believe it or not. i actually work with sammy. he is who got me started on kc and now fl.

ja, it is a gartzenwerg (a gnome, for people who dont know), but no bier, just a pilz. id say my gnome collection is even bigger then my solider collection. ^&grin
