Not long ago I got two sets of fieldstone diorama mats via Treefrog Treasures made by J.G. Miniatures (John Gittins of England) to replace the "flooring" I had before which came from extra material that was used for our kitchen floor area of our home. While it looked OK it did not look as good as the Fieldstone mats made by Gittins. So I replaced the flooring for my "Mummy Room" display as well as the outdoor "Queen Cleopatra's patio" just outside of her palace. I think the fake fieldstone mats look very good and are more realistic than what I had before. Of course Gittins is noted for splendid diorama items. I am just posting photos of the "Mummy Room" so as to not "expose" the Dancing Girls in the other display that also has the new fieldstone flooring. This display is one of six K&C ancient Egyptian dioramas that are all at 21 by 9 inches in display space. "Iron Brigade" / Gary

Looks good, so far I have been content with a desert floor, but may have to look into this, thanks for sharing. Robin.

Hi Gary,

Thanks very much for the preview of your "Mummy Room" display via email two weeks ago. It is a pity you are not posting the pictures of your excellent "Queen Cleopatra's patio". Perhaps, you could temporarily remove the dancing girls for a few shots suitable for forum posting.

All the best, Raymond.

P.S. I received your letter yesterday (15th May). Thank you.

Dear Raymond:
Thanks for your comments. As for my "Queen Cleopatra's Patio" display being posted without "The Girls" as you noted above, I have taken the position that it is an all or nothing situation. I think the "Dancing Girls" K&C set is an important part of this display. However, I will respect Shannon's advice not to post photos of "the nude girls" and let it go at that. Glad you got the mail I sent to you via USPS First Class Mail International and I trust you found the information I sent to you of some interest.
Best regards, Gary
