I haven't gotten mine yet but what is that? Don't think I've ever seen something like that before. Another example of K & C doing something different :smile2:

Count me in for one too! Other great new release on Decembers collectors are the Kriegsmarine band, will be adding those also :wink2:

John I am struggling with the laughing drummer, unless he has been touched by the sun, he will be missing from the ranks for me. Cannot find a spot for him in a diorama. Am I missing something here? Cheers, Robin.

I think he would fit in fine with the current Christmas drummer boy set.... but maybe not in Egypt?

There are a few figures that K&C do that don't really fit in, BUT I have seen a prints showing the French Grenadier on the donkey, riding through the bazzar of Cairo, so I can see where they are coming from.

It actually reminds me of a scene from the movie "Gallipoli' when Mel Gibson and crew imitate British officers by riding donkeys in a similar location a century later, and that is funny :)

Good thing with all the figures made, you can buy what YOU like or don't buy...... thats my policy!

Along that line, I am hoping that K&C will give us a couple more mounted pieces, or perhaps a mule/camel supply train to go in concert with the soldier on a donkey. Meanwhile, got to find something else for the drummer to be laughing at ...

Pauline Foures in a hussar uniform ... anyone for one ?
