For all of you old, aging, shrinking base, withering away gloss collectors out there, I picked up the two new Britains Classic figures today at lunch. They're beautiful and they're true 54mm. They're not big clunky things.

Which ones did you purchase?
How is the detail?

There's only two out right now. The 1755 foot guard and the 1795 foot guard.
The detail is good especially the 1755 one. They're about the same size as old Britains.

We just finished a special gloss club set of the guards at St. James in home service and full dress uniforms Ca. 1815. This will be a three figure set, Sgt, Cpl in home service dress and an EM in full dress with a guard shack.
Recently finished is a British guardsman 1705 and 1914. A British EM 1855 and a US regular infantryman 1812. With the positive feedback we will be developing more subjects including an American range and boxed sets.
