Howdy,

I am new to the Tree Frog Forum. I found out about it back in June in San Antonio, TX when I stumbled upon a "toy soldier" convention there.

I have recently found most of my old soldiers from when I was younger and have contemplated getting back into collecting them. However, I dont know much of the technical info about them and was hoping someone could fill me in.

I am guessing that the Britains I have are 1/54 scale!? However, I am not really sure. Here is a picture of some of the Britains I have. I have others, but they are all the same size/scale. (That is technically not my photo, I just googled it and found a pic of soldiers just like mine).

Can anyone tell me what size these are for sure?

Welcome !!

You are sort of correct in your scale they are 1:32 or 54mm. Britains even up to today has always been classed as 1:32/54mm even though the size of the figures has varied over the last 100 years.

Glad to have you aboard and anymore questions feel free to ask away.

Regards
Scott

If you post pics of your collection, we can help you identify them, and maybe even give you an idea of the value... Best of luck,
Sandor

WOW...thanks for the help! I see where I got the numbers wrong!

Like I said, I am new (again) to the hobby and am really starting to catch the bug. I appreciate the help and have sprinkled a few other questions around the forum.

Hope to see you guys around here!
