Hi everyone.

I thought you might be intrested in John's new releases for October. With luck we will be showing them at the Chicago Show. Also John will be attending the show and will be showing the Prototypes for the November and December Releases.

New for the Quebec Series,

FRASER HIGHLANDER, LIGHT INFANTRY.

The 78th Highland Regiment was raised in 1757, the Lieutenant Colonel was Simon Fraser. The Regiment served with distinction at the Louisbourg Campaign, and at the siege of Quebec.

During the later part of the French and Indian War, the regiment had a company of light Infantry. These were men who were accustomed to fighting in woods and were good marksmen.

The uniforms differed from the rest of the regiment, changes occurred due to the experience gained campaigning in the North American forests. The traditional highland kilt was cut down or replaced by what is known as the “philebeg” or “little kilt”. The coat was stripped of the decorative lacing and extra pockets were added. Also it became common to wear woolen or canvas leggings and moccasins, similar to what the Rangers and Indians wore and the cumbersome broadsword was replaced with an axe.

QHL-01 - Officer and Corporal - (2pcs) - Limited edition 500 - $52.00

QHL-02 - Fraser Highlander Light Infantry 1 - Limited edition 500 - $52.00

QHL-03 - Fraser Highlander Light Infantry 2 - Limited edition 500 - $52.00

I hope you like them

Best regards

Mike

Thanks for the posting - those are really neat figures. What is the production level for them?

I am probally going to have to wait a couple weeks before my order - still trying to pay off the BIG grend. order I put in for those new releases.

On a side note - I went to Louisburg last year in Nova Scotia - its really a great place to visit and is set up like Williamsburg, VA - with renactors and preservation projects!

Well worth the effort to visit and Nova Scotia is a wonderful place to visit as well.

Here is the link for Louisberg:

Thanks much for the info Mike. Sierra has a great website for JJ figures including the production numbers. Do you know if these three sets are the entire release for October or will there be some others?

Combat

Do you what the production level will be on these new figures for Oct??

On the original post I think it says that all 3 sets will be a release of 500 each.

BTW: nice to hear that JJ will be in Chicago. Maybe some word on the new line?

John said he would be at the show from the 20th through the 23rd with prototypes for future sets. He said he plans on shipping these three sets on the 14th to the dealers attending the show to have for sale there.

As has already been metioned, there are 500 of each of these three sets; Combat, not sure if he will reveal the new range at the show or not..................

George

Give us a preview of what John Jenkins you will have at the VA Show? :D

Ron

Ron,
I will have all of the QF sets, BM 04, 05, 07, 08 and 09, the cannon and crew, FM 05, WIM 01-06, QB 01 through 07.

I will not have the highlanders as my order is being direct shipped to the hotel for OTSN, all 75 sets (accept yours Combat, they are all set.....:D).......................

I will get there Friday around 4:00pm, check into the hotel and from there, go over to the college to set up from 5:00 till 9:00; the show starts at 9:00am on Saturday.

I also forgot to mention I've got VM 1,2,3 as well.............

The 78th Regiment (Frasers Highlanders) have arrived on the scene and are taking their place on the battleline in Quebec. I'm going to raise a glass of a good of Highland single malt to the continued success of JJD. The figures are so realistic that I was forced to try and see what they were wearing under their kilts:D:D:D. If you haven't started this series yet, then get on the bandwagon.

Received mine today. Great as usual. I can't wait for that Montcalm set. And then Braddock, Washington....

I am waiting patiently for the new JJ Fraser’s Highlanders to arrive from George at Minute Man; he shipped them last Friday. :)

I have so much enthusiasm for JJ that after I order the latest release, and you have to pre-order to make sure you get some, unlike the early days when the first release BM’s sat in the stores for a long time, that I feel like a kid that has been told Santa is coming, he’s bringing what you wanted, but he is taking his sweet *** time in getting down that **** chimney across the street and he still has 20 more houses to visit before yours.

:):):)
