Wow, that thing is huge. Do you really think its going to be available for mass production? Would be cool if it was.

Hey anybody:

If you go to the dramatic display page and scroll down to "Occupation - Somewhere in France 1944" there is a sweet cobble stone building with a red roof. Does anybody know where to get one of these or something similar to it? Im assuming Gordon made it for that particular diorama. Just wondering if anybody knew where to get a good cobblestone structure for diorama purposes.

Yep....your local grocery store....I talked to Gordon about that...he used freeze dried peas!

Same was used on the Crete Dio with the downed Junkers.

Same thing with the Chimney on the Civil War House Diorama. Talk about an imaginative use of produce!

The plane was scratchbuilt by Gordon. It's not a model. I don't know what it's made of but Gordon told me in Chicago for the cowlings he took the tops of two spray paint cans, cut them in half and painted them. I don't have the ability like him or Alex or other dioramaists to look at something ordinary and see how it could be used for something else.

Yes that is definetly a gift isn't it.

If you want great buildings at fair prices, I strongly recommend Nick aka Morbshock. He is easily, one of the finest foam artists, that I know ,and though I only have 3 buildings from him so far, it is my intent to have a complete street diorama, when able....Michael......sorry for my weak camera and not flattering photos

Those are quite brilliant model buildings. Wish I had half that talent.:eek:

Cheers

Hi Louis,

It looks like the building used in the 'Road to Arnhem' dramatic display could be the same as the one shown in the "Allied last stand" and "1914...the road to Paris". Just photographed from the rear of the building.

Adrian

PS. I'd take it as read that we'll all be broke soon.
