Here's the latest from Andy. We'll be getting the new items on the web site ASAP.

1. SO, WHAT’S NEW?
Appearing this December is our brand-new, redesigned…resculpted…and upgraded Chinese Army – now part of our “Imperial Collection”. These new releases are all part of the Emperor’s Own Bodyguard and are uniformed in Imperial golden yellow. The only exceptions are the Emperor’s Mongolian Archers who are dressed in forest green.
These new releases are the first of what we intend to be a major series.
IC012 Standing Guard w/ Spear
IC013 Marching Guard w/ Spear
IC014 Marching Flagbearerwith Regimental Banner
IC015 Standing Guard pointing
IC016 Mounted Officer
IC017 Kneeling Guardsman
IC018 Mounted Lancer
IC019 The Emperor Qianlong. One of China’s most celebrated rulers and K&C’s second version of this mighty Emperor.
IC020 Mongolian Archers Set. Three of the Emperor’s finest archers take aim at target practise.
AVAILABILITY : Mid to Late December.

2 more sets coming just a bit later to enrich your Imperial Collection series.
IC011 The Opera Stage A beautiful and colourful 3 dimensional setting for our
Chinese Opera players
IC021 Traditional Mongolian Tent A circular structure originally designed by the
Mongols and adopted by the Chinese for use in the field
AVAILABILITY : Mid to Late January.

Also available at this time will be our latest additions to “STREETS OF OLD HONGKONG”.
HK140 Police Station. A great little façade-style building in a typical colonial-style of architecture with Chinese influences. This is based on an actual building still existing in present-day Hong Kong.
HK143 Street Toy Stall. Charming set comprising a street stall crammed with traditional Chinese toys…a street ‘hawker’ trying to entice young customers…two small boys and a female maid servant.
HK144 Tailor Shop Set. A kneeling tailor and his assistant make final amendments to a ‘Cheong Saam’ clad young lady. A tailor’s dummy complete with another sample of his work is also included.
HK145 Tangerine Tree Buyer. Every Chinese New Year householders decorate their homes with miniature Tangerine Trees. Here is one such domestic scene – includes the trees.
HK146 The Flower Shop Set. Yet another colourful ‘street’ scene from any Hong Kong market place…A Flower Stall covered in pots of different blooms…the Stall Holder and a female customer – you can almost smell the flowers!
AVAILABILITY : Mid to Late December.

2. COMING IN JANUARY…
Sieg Heil Meine Fuhrer!
It’s back to Berlin in 1938 with this latest batch of amazingly successful (but totally politically incorrect) collection of nasty Nazis and gray-clad Wehrmacht on parade.
LAH57 Dr. Josef Goebbels, Hitler’s vertically challenged Propaganda Minister nicknamed ‘The Poison Dwarf’ even by other Nazis!
Here he stands…making a speech as usual.
LAH58 Marching Algemeine SS Man. The Algemeine (or General Duties) SS were mostly part-timers who could ‘police’ party rallies and other functions.

LAH59 Marching Algemeine SS Officer
LAH60 Marching Algemeine SS man with Standard. In this case the banner of a Munich unit.
LAH61 Oath Taking Ceremony. All SS recruits had to partake of an oath taken to the Fuhrer. Here two Leibstandarte SS recruits take the oath over the Regimental standard held by an LAH officer.
LAH62 Taking The Oath. Additional single ‘Oath Takers’ are also available.
LAH63 Wehrmacht Mounted Officer
LAH64 Wehrmacht Marching Officer
LAH65 Wehrmacht Marching Flagbearer carrying the Reich ‘Battle Flag’.
LAH66 Wehrmacht Drummer
LAH67 Wehrmacht Rifleman
Please Note: All Wehrmacht are in classic German parade uniform.
LAH68 Panzer 1 Tank. This nifty little piece of armour was a familiar sight at pre-war parades. Ours is in the markings of a ‘trial’ unit of LAH who trained with it during 1938.

3. LOOKING FORWARD TO FEBRUARY…
“At the Court of Cleopatra”
K&C returns to Ancient Egypt with our third release of figures in this exciting and unique range…And with a decidedly female angle.
AE19 Cleopatra’s Bodyguard. A proud Nubian, arms folded, stands ready to protect his Queen.
AE20 The Cleopatra Set. The ‘Jewel of the Nile’ herself, seated on a throne of gold with her Court Chamberlain by one side and some refreshing wine and fruit by the other.
AE21 The Banquet Guests. A reclining Egyptian nobleman enjoys his wine…his favourite concubine sits nearby.
AE22 “Another cup of wine, Sir”. A servant girl pours some more refreshment for another of Cleopatra’s noble guests.
AE23 Egyptian Dancing Girls. Two beautiful and supple female entertainers dance for the guests unencumbered by too many clothes!!!
AE24 Court Musicians. Providing the background music for the dancers is this Ancient Egyptian version of “Destiny’s Child”.
